In Montanera the pig feeds on grass and its favorite food: the acorn. This is the only season of the year in which Torreón produces fresh acorn meat.
What is the difference with normal Iberian meat?
The pig's diet directly influences the quality and marbling of the meat. Making each bite of this meat much more enjoyable thanks to its greater juiciness.
